To me, vulnerability is beautiful. It rocks, it’s cool, it’s sexy. It is being courageous enough to show your soft underbelly, with the risk of being hurt.

Vulnerability is strong. It breaks down walls and builds connection.

Vulnerability requires trust, from the one being vulnerable, and from the one witnessing the vulnerability.

Vulnerability is healing, it can bring you back from your deepest sorrows, it can help you see that you are enough, that you are worthy, that you are more than you ever imagined.

Vulnerability encourages authenticity, and the courage to show the real you, the good and the bad, the beauty and the beast, and all that lays between.

Vulnerability, and the risk of being hurt, can help peel of the layers and reveal your inner self.

For every cut can serve to make you stand for who you really are.

Every loss can help you appreciate what you have.

Every insult can help you find your worth.

Every betrayal can serve you to find your trust.

Every lie can make you question your own honesty

Every time you feel ignored, can serve to raise your self-awareness

Every form of disregard, can help you find your self-regard

Every hurtful comment can help you find your kindness

You see, the world around you is your mirror, reflecting your own reality back to you. When you let go of resistance, open your heart and take your courage to be vulnerable, all your experiences can become these valuable life lessons. And you can learn to see that things just are, until you give your own meaning to them.
